Are you looking for something to be 3D printed? Look no further! I have a range of 3D printers that can produce parts using a wide variety of materials.
3D printing on demand is a service that allows you to design, customize, and print 3D objects as and when you need them. Here's a general overview of how the process works:
Design Stage: The first step is creating a 3D model of the object you want to print. This can be done using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. If you don't have the skills to create a 3D model, some services provide design assistance. Alternatively, there are online databases where you can download pre-existing designs.
File Preparation: Once the 3D model is ready, it's converted into a format that the 3D printer can understand. This is typically a .STL or .OBJ file.
Printing Quote: Before printing begins, the 3D printing service will provide a quote. The cost of printing usually depends on factors like the size of the object, the material used, the complexity of the design, and the time it takes to print.
3D Printing: If you agree to the quote, the 3D printing service will proceed with printing. The 3D printer creates the object layer by layer from the chosen material, which can range from plastic to metal to ceramics, and more.
Post-Processing: After the object is printed, it often requires some post-processing, such as removing supports, sanding, painting, or other finishing touches.
Delivery: Once the object is ready, it's delivered to you. Depending on your location and the service, this could be via shipping or local pickup.
Re-ordering: One of the benefits of 3D printing on demand is that once the design file is created, it can be used to print new copies whenever you need them.
3D Printing On Demand
I operate a wide variety of 3D printers including machines from RatRig, Prusa, Creality and Bambu Lab. These allow me to print items up to 450 x 450mm in size.
I work with a wide variety of filaments and colors including PLA, PETG, Polycarbonate, Carbon Fibre PETG (black only), Carbon Fibre ABS and TPU. If there is a filament type or color that is not in stock please get in touch and we can see what we can work out. We are happy to make accomodations depending on the requirements of a project. Please note that additional lead-time may be required if materials need to be sourced.
